Vision

All persons who live with a developmental disability have a right to dignity, inclusion and participation in a safe community environment.

Purpose

The purpose of the association is to take a leadership role to promote and support within the community, the gifts, capacities and natural relationships of all people who live with a developmental disability by:

• Promoting and protecting their rights, freedoms and values;
• Recognizing and validating the inherent strengths within families and communities;
• Collaborating with people to direct their own lives;
• Engaging the community to welcome all people, and;
• Promoting opportunities for all people to contribute to the community.
